Fayeanne Beattie

Fayeanne joined Gallagher in September of 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. She began her career in public accounting as a chartered accountant with BDO Dunwoody and then as a consultant in the area of Computer Risk Management at Arthur Andersen. From there she spent the next 20 years in the insurance industry in various roles, primarily in the area of Finance.


During 12 years at RSA insurance, she held roles in the areas of Finance, Treasury and Corporate Development, including: CFO of the subsidiary, Renfrew Insurance Brokers, Chief Internal Auditor of RSA Canada, and Business Director to the CEO. By 2010 in her final role, she was Director of Finance and Operations for Noraxis Capital Corporation.For the next five years, Fayeanne spent time at Genworth, a publicly held company and leading private mortgage insurer in Canada.


For the first three years, she was Vice President of Finance responsible for all regulatory, financial and management reporting, taxation, and management of investments. She was also the primary contact for all regulatory agencies, rating agencies and investors. She then moved into the role of Vice President of Product Development and worked closely with the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Actuary to develop new insurance products for financial lending institutions in Canada.


Next Fayeanne returned to the property and casualty industry on the brokerage side as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer of Aon Canada. While at Aon, Fayeanne led the finance operation of 45 finance and accounting professionals and a central operations team of five employees. She was also responsible for the leadership of their Managing General Agency, Linx Underwriting Solutions.


Since joining Gallagher as Chief Financial Officer in September of 2018, Fayeanne has been instrumental in finalizing year end financials, developing a 2019 budget and in closing the acquisition of Jones Brown Inc. in January.


Outside of the office, Fayeanne and her husband Bryan are kept very busy by their two teenage daughters through their involvement in softball and cheerleading.
