We are currently recruiting for the full time position of Account Representative (CSR) within the Commercial Service department at our Jack Blick Office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Under the supervision of the Commercial Office Manager, the Account Representative (CSR) carries out a wide range of duties. The Account Representative (CSR) will be responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with assigned Producers, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with the clients and insurers. The Account Representative assists Producers with the servicing of a designated group of clients or book of business as it relates to marketing, claims, administration, and sales. The Account Representative (CSR) will act as liaison between the Producers and Insurers, keeping them well-informed of any changes affecting insurance coverages. The Account Representative (CSR) is responsible for the delivery of customer service on all assigned accounts according to company service standards. Duties will also include resolving customer service inquiries, responding to client questions, logging of conversations, servicing of renewal accounts according to company procedures, preparing renewals and client information presentations, reviewing proposals and assisting in preparing RFP responses. The Account Representative (CSR) must work effectively with all members of the commercial team to obtain a clear understanding of our client’s insurance needs.
Minimum High School Graduate
Minimum of 3 (three) years commercial lines experience
Applicants should possess a minimum CAIB 3 ICM license or equivalent experience and education
Must hold a minimum Level 2 license from Insurance Council Of Manitoba or be able to transfer their non-resident license within 30 days of start date
Demonstrated Proficiency in MS products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Adobe products
Requirement to continue with education working towards earning the CAIB designation
High level of accuracy for data entry and keyboarding skill with a strong attention to details
Willingness to learn on a continual basis and continue with education when opportunities arise
Superior time management, organization and process management skills that ensure consistent quality of service delivery
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and within a team environment with a strong cohesive approach
